Students who want to came to Glasgow should be very motivated to work hard. If they are only looking for fun or Erasmus life probably Glasgow is not the best option. More important is the fact that the adaptation may be very hard for some people. I have been sick for two months until I got used to the …

The lectures are clear and presence is obligated. And with the first deadlines in sight, you realize it is not a holiday, but there is also work that has to be done!

Currently I'm studying at the the University of Surrey in Guildford, a small city in the South East of England, about 30 miles from London. I'm studying at the the Psychology department, which is a good complement to my master Human-Technology Interaction back in the Netherlands at the Eindhoven University of …

I recommend an international semester to everyone. You meet new people, you improve your English and you see and experience a lot more of a country then you will see and experience on a holiday. So it is really an enrichment of your student life, a chance you have to grab while you can.

Aberdeen is really cosy town and it offers lots of old magnificent buildings made from rock, awesome sea shore and really friendly students. Best place in town is a Watering hole! If you don't know what I mean, visit Hillhead :)

Coming from the former Eastern block country I was expecting to experience a university a la Western style, but I was a bit disappointed. The accommodation was nothing I expected. As much as the University of Leicester stresses that it has been the university of the year 2008/2009, this achievement was …

Having experience with a foreign university is very valuable, it improves international cooperation skills, is very interesting for both you and your fellow international students. Most of all, it’s a great enjoyable experience to mix with other cultures. I myself went to the University of Plymouth, in …

I started off looking for a place that offered modules on Environmental Psychology. At first I had a hard time finding such a place but finally, and with quite a detour, I ended up finding the University of Surrey. It was just hard to find on their website that they offered a full masters program for …

Knowledge of English language was more than sufficient for functioning at the university. The setting was pretty international (50% of the students in the chosen modules were from abroad), and it seemed that the Dutch were the better English speaking of the group. British culture appeared to be not that …

The dormitory is excellent, and cheap (90-120 Euros/Month). You can also rent a flat or share one in the city center for about 120-200 Euros per month. Courses in Finance are serious, you can also start to learn Lithuanian and Russian. Library is rich and diversified, teachers are very close to the students …
