Ciudad Real is a small town

Ciudad Real is small town in Castilla La Mancha, Spain. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. But still, I had the coolest time ever there. Also, if anyone is interested in experiencing real Spain, then Ciudad Real is it. People there are not huge fans of foreigners but once you get to know them, they are …

    Why doing Erasmus?

The positive thing about doing your Erasmus there is that there are not THAT many Erasmus students there, there were around a 100 when I was there in Spring 2010, I would say. So you get to know many of these people and it just becomes a close-knit family. We always knew through our Facebook group messages …

You have but two choices: live your country or embrace Europe. Having the opportunity to study abroad turns you into a different person. And prepares you to make the difference. It’s a brave new world to discover: meeting new people (friends for life), new cultures, new places, new traditions, new languages. …

Madrid is an incredible spot to experience. It has a unique spirit; it urges you to explore the very heart of the culture. You upgrade the art of appreciating the good life. In the Spanish capital, there is no other option than to live to the most. Everything is intense. Day after day you embrace new …

Preparation consisted of learning Spanish and working a lot to finance the stay. I searched for a room in Gracia (an authentic area in Barcelona). And found it through the website www.loquo.com. The language was Catalan, which was difficult to understand with my intermediate level of Spanish. But if people …

I gained insight in different views of the lecturers. The quality of the course differed greatly. The discussions done in English were good to follow and nice to participate. The discussions in Spanish were hard to follow and even harder to participate. The courses fitted well with the courses done at the …

I would recommend this city to live there and this university to study in cause you could only benefit from that.
Santiago de Compostela is a really beautifull city with history and tradition, a lot of students, friendly people and pilgrims. It's not big so you don't have even to use any public transport, …

The main reason for choosing Jaen was its localization. It’s situated in Andalusia at the south of Spain, just next to Grenada, Cordoba and Seville. So you can life in a small city which has a typical Spanish charm and anytime you want travel to one of the cities mentioned above. You have an easy access to …

Going abroad means meet other people from all around the world. I chose the city because of his size and his position inside Spain. Valladolid is not that big as Madrid, so you have the opportunity to know a lot of everything and have a quite close connection to the others, Erasmus and Spanish people.

The dormitory is excellent, and cheap (90-120 Euros/Month). You can also rent a flat or share one in the city center for about 120-200 Euros per month. Courses in Finance are serious, you can also start to learn Lithuanian and Russian. Library is rich and diversified, teachers are very close to the students …
