    Trondheim is a cosy city

First of all, by choosing Trondheim you're choosing not only a city but an entire "combo", I would say! Trondheim is a small and cosy city located in the middle of Norway with direct contact with one of the main attractions of the country: the fjords. When I came here, I did so mainly because of the …

Beautiful landscapes just around the corner, excellent outdoor activities, small but seizable town and, above all, a great student city! Trondheim is the most important student city in Norway and it is beacuse almost 10% of its inhabitants are students! These are just a few of the reason why I choose …

Trondheim is not the most famous city in Norway, and not even the biggest, but it is a very lively study town with a very nice city centre and a lot of student organizations (also ESN). Last but not least, NTNU is said to be the best University in Norway, and I think this reputation is wholly justified by the …

Norway is a beautiful country, people are from everywhere. University is huge, and there is always something to do here in Trondheim, among parties, cross-country ski, sports, and trips!

    Why to go abroad?

The reason I decided to undertake this experience abroad was mainly the curiosity for this new, far place called Norway, of which I basically knew nothing and barely could imagine how it looked from the pictures I found on the internet.

I also found a very warm and welcoming environment, despite of the reputation that scandinavian people have to be pretty cold and closed. In fact, they're not. They're simply a little wary towards "strangers" and they need a little push to get to know you better. But when you make a step towards them and pass …

    Weather in Norway

I've given the experience a 9 and not a 10 just for two reasons: the weather and the sunlight! But this is only a problem if you come from a tropical country like me where this kind of phenomena is literally impossible hahaha I think for cold weather folks this conditions are piece of cake!

Firstly, NTNU was a very good choice from the point of view of my master thesis. Several architecture students from Belgium had been to Trondheim before, the offered subject was interesting and the supervisor very nice and helpful.

I was an Erasmus Link exchange student in Hønefoss/Norway in 2005 from April to July. I have taken couple of courses, attended summer school and received an introductory course on Norwegian Language. Norway as a country may not be the best option for studying abroad but during those years there was not many …

Prices were expensive and we had to live mostly on budget, but it was not huge problem for short-term. Norway has a great nature and it is not a most-visited tourist destination in Europe, so you may fel exclusive after being there. I definetely reccomend Buskerud University College to students who are …
