It has a great international reputation in technology and research, especially logistics-wise. Furthermore Eindhoven generated and is home to several multinational companies, such as Philips and ASML.
The quality of the studies is great, especially due to the high staff/student ratio. Good mentoring is …

In my opinion, Groningen is some kind of a 'hidden treasure' of the Netherlands most people don't really know about (maybe because of its remote locations) for several reasons:

    • The university is old and has a great selection of courses to offer. There are even tailor-made programmes for exchange students, such …

I had no idea what to expect, my mind was blank. Then, when I arrived, it was so wonderful, so beautiful! It looked like a cartoon, so clean and so different from China.

The buildings in the Netherlands are completely different. They are so old! In China, most buildings are a couple of years old. Here you can …

I wanted to go abroad to an english speaking country, though I was not offered an exchange. So I went to my Erasmus coordinator and said I was desperate, and she offered me Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit!
I said yes without thinking and I haven't regret it for a second! :)

The dormitory is excellent, and cheap (90-120 Euros/Month). You can also rent a flat or share one in the city center for about 120-200 Euros per month. Courses in Finance are serious, you can also start to learn Lithuanian and Russian. Library is rich and diversified, teachers are very close to the students …
