Bad points: you can’t take an optional language like in other universities, life is very expensive in Paris. You can’t choose your courses, there is still too much psychoanalysis, not many French students speak English.

Good points: you can meet students from all over the world, there are less psychoanalysis …

The faculty I was placed in (Charles V - Etudes Anglais) is very bad. It is disorganized, very far behind technologically (not enough functioning computers, printers, and wifi for students, no online list of classes, no online class enrollment, etc.), the classes are not challenging enough, the class content …

Paris, Descartes was the closest location to my place in Paris, but It’s mainly because the level and the courses are great there and because you can find there one of the biggest psychology library of all Europe!

I recommend Paris as a city to visit. The capital of France is extremely expensive and there's no support for students. I come from Finland where we can have financial student support and we have students and coordinators who help foreign students to integrate. In France I had to do everything without any …

Paris is an expensive city. But, like in all places, if you look for special opportunities you can find cheap things and activities to do with less money. In fact, in the most countries of the European Union, there are a lot of aids and special activities for students. Paris is an expensive city. But, like in …

Finding an apartment in Paris is hard, not just a decent one but any! Therefore it should be taken into consideration spending an effort on this in advance.

Be able to get in touch with alumnii before making your choice. In research, the profile of a professor is the way to choose you research line and hence your major. It is not the major you choose that makes your career, it is the professor that you find and chooses you. That I would've love to know bafore …

The dormitory is excellent, and cheap (90-120 Euros/Month). You can also rent a flat or share one in the city center for about 120-200 Euros per month. Courses in Finance are serious, you can also start to learn Lithuanian and Russian. Library is rich and diversified, teachers are very close to the students …
