Great Journey begins at Tianjin University of Finance&Economics

Every time I walked through our library called “Shaw Libraryâ€,which was donated by the most renowned film artist as well as philanthropist in Hong Kong,Run run Shaw,I was filled with pleasure and eagerness of knowledge -pursuing in my heart.TJUFE(my home university)was indeed the cradle to incubate esteemed talents and professionals, setting them free with hand-on experience and truth of knowledge, letting them fulfilled with great awareness of themselves. No.1 A vivid example--------my daily lives I myself was a student who thoroughly used the timetable and resources in TJUFE. Here below is my typical day when I was in my home college: In the morning,I rode bicycles through Zhujiang Road, most departments and research center are in here. We own a very large space in rural area of Tianjin city, the university covers 800,000 m², with a floor space of 455,600 m². It has a very interesting and long history of the First Classroom Building and the Old Library in the 'west campus'. Along with TUFE library, the new classroom buildings and many new comprehensive buildings in the 'east campus' are the new faces of the university. The library boasts an extensive collection of books and reference materials in Chinese and other languages.I’d always like to spend most of my daily time here in searching and browsing books.Lots of journals are available for all students for their independent research. TUFE provides apartments with rooms normally shared by two or four students. Gyms and a sub-library are in the apartments area.I shared a room with one local girl from Tianjin, school used to mix up our hometown to let us know each other better. Because TUFE women's basketball team is the national champion for several consecutive years, the most popular game in here is basketball.I feel very proud of the women basketball team in our school,I like watching games every autumn. No.2 What did I do when I was there In campus, with the help of teachers from extra-curriculum centres,I with other 2 girls successfully established a sharing-based community called “Bridgeâ€,aiming to bring in and allocate different kinds of resources together. It targets to be a student sharing-based organization that assists college students in navigating campus and excelling in course work. All the start to usher in a new field and put thoughts into reality was difficult,so we split up our tasks focusing on membership recruitment, business development, and program design based on the help from school. We used the Deadline incentive method and supervised each other’s work. After two months of hard work, we attracted 15 business partners, assembled and benefited 90 elite students, and conducted over 10 seminars and courses. My sophomore year was brilliant once I turned myself into an action-taker. Besides,I also join in the debate club and become the best free debater.I also won the third prize of English speech contest in and out of school.Through my study period in TJUFE,I vastly expanded my level of interests. I once had an amazing leadership experience that I want to share with. Starting from freshman,I was the teamleader of International Relationship Department in AIESEC,an international non-governmental not-for-profit organization that provides young people with leadership development and cross-cultural volunteer experience across the globe. During which I trained 5 members, established connections with other committees in on official database & website. And I took part in every strategy conference held by AIESEC Naikai University and engaged in all the executive board future planning. Finally I established Connection Corrospondence for local committee and attended nearly 7 cultural activities in Tianjin. We helped volunteers abroad to get accustomed to China's culture in Commonweal Exchange Project called "Explore China" . Ultimately speaking,my dream occupation is to work for several think tanks in the world related to world trade & finance, which happens to be my major and minor in college.I have attained required skills when I had five different top-tier financial internships during my time in college like consulting in the big-league cities in the world and I had plenty of volunteer experience in the US as well as Southeast Asia.Throughout my school period,I have adhered the highest standards of excellence and have demonstrated strong communication skills, analytic ability, poise, creativity, and dedication. No.3 Our International Co-operations I love the moment when I tasted a cup of coffee chatting with my foreign friend Ian.The International Exchange Center is a multi-functional building with cafeteria, accommodation and classrooms for exchange students to enjoy. The elegant and comfortable interior provides a fine environment of studying and living for overseas students. The library welcomes the students with an extensive collection of books, spacious and quiet electronic reading-rooms. Overseas students can enjoy all kinds of sports at the stadium, gymnasium and swimming pool, and participate in activities such as parties and Chinese speech contest, named the "Summer at TUFE", to practice their Chinese language skills and demonstrate their achievements of study. The university has always been actively engaged in international exchange, as evidenced by the fact that it has successively established liaisons with more than 50 universities and research institutes in about 20 countries and regions, such as the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Greece, etc. So far, more than 1,000 overseas students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have come to study in the university, among whom many have been conferred doctor, master or bachelor's degrees. No.4 My deeply embedded words for students wish to apply Now I am a fresh new graduate from my university in mainland of China,my college is in a very beautiful city named Tianjin.Tianjin is one of the four municipalities controlled and managed directly under the Central Government of China. It’s a beautiful seashore city with a high economic speed and the second largest Free Trade Zone in China just followed behind Shanghai’s.If Beijing and Shanghai. I hold the opinion that every student who get the chance to study in TJUFE will alter their life into a bigger scope, cuz with no doubt spending semesters on-board will they know more friends from diverse background and achieve interesting goals into every city they encounter. As an honored graduate in Tianjin University of Finance & Economics,I won’t regret any moment I was taking there,on the contrary,I will cherish everything I learned from there to benefit more people and achieve my dreams! Welcome aboard guys!
