Bogazici is a great place to study considering its location, environment and academic excellence, especially in social and political sciences. There're several student clubs for every interest and these work quite professionally. The main campus overlooks the amazing Bosphorus view, which is great to hang out with friends anytime during the day. Also, the main campus has a big lawn are where studetns hang out all day long.
Besides, Bogazici presents an academically invigorating envorinment where you can expand your world view. Each semester, there are various courses to choose from.
The only downside of the university is the limited personal attention by the staff to the students. As this is a public university, it has limited resources and facilities compared to some private universities in Istanbul. As an international student, you might need to do most of the getting-to-know-around stuff yourself.
But fellow students are usually very friendly who will be more than happy to help you with anything. Limited school resources can be compansated by the friendly cultural environment in the campus and in the city in general.
